About AquaGold Microinfusion
Aquagold fine touch micro-channeling creates superficial “micro-channels” to the outermost layer of the skin. This enables the absorption of custom ingredients to be infused directly into the skin by bypassing the skin’s natural protective barrier. Aquagold fine touch nourishes, feeds, heals and rejuvenates the skin from within.
These micro channels are created by patented 24ct gold hair fine, spiral thread needles. These delicate needles are so gentle your clinician is able to treat right to the lash line and over the lips. Depending on your skin concerns and the cocktail of ingredients mixed by your clinician: Aquagold fine touch micro-channeling addresses dryness, reduces the visibility of acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, reduces pigmentation, pore size, redness and improves the skin’s overall tone and texture. Micro channels also induce new collagen production.
The most common side effects include bleeding, bruising, swelling and redness. These most commonly improve within 1-3 days after treatment
Pre-Treatment Considerations
- Arrive with clean skin.
- We recommend scheduling your appointment at least 24 hours prior to special events.
- Notify the provider if you have a history of cold sores. An antiviral may be prescribed.
- Please reschedule if you have an active rash in the area being treated.
- Avoidance of Accutane for the past 6 months is required.
- Avoidance of laser procedures and waxing for the past 7 days is required.
- Discontinue topical retinoids 24 hours before treatment to reduce sensitivity.
- If pregnant, please obtain clearance from OB/GYN.
Post-Treatment Considerations
- Avoid touching the face.
- Avoid direct sun exposure after treatment.
- Use a non-comeodogenic sunscreen daily and reapply every 2 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours.
- Make-up may be used 24 hours after treatment.
- Treatments may be repeated 4-6 weeks when treating acne, scars and hyperpigmentation and in 12 weeks for age management.
- Best results are achieved in a series of 4-6 treatments.
